SERVPRO Gives Back to the Community
Today kicks off SERVPRO of Lafayette’s year-long campaign “SERVPRO gives back to their community.”
SERVPRO of Lafayette wants to be more to their community than the faces people see when they have water damage or a fire in their homes or business.
We appreciate everyone who helped us kick off our campaign today and came out and donated blood. As a community, we wanted to help replenish the blood banks supplies after the tragic shootings in Las Vegas. Our blood drive is in memory of all those who lost their lives that night. We pray for all those who this senseless tragedy has touched.
As our year-long campaign progresses, we will be working closely with the American Red Cross,
canvasing certain areas of town, inquiring about the smoke detectors in your homes. We will be
changing batteries and even installing new smoke detectors where they are needed. Being in this
business, we see so many fires that could have been prevented before they spread if only the smoke
detectors were in working order.
We will also be working closely with the local Habitat for Humanity. We will be donating any salvageable building materials that could be repurposed. Our team will also be donating their personal
time as a group, one day a quarter, to the local Habitat for Humanity store. We would love to see you all come on out and check out the local store. They have some wonderful things for sale; furniture,
building materials, flooring, and the areas rugs they have for sale will blow you away.
If you have any suggestions or would like us to volunteer to help your organization, do not hesitate to give us a call. We are not just here when tragedy strikes, we are here for our community year-round.
